This document defines the Terms of Use and the General Conditions of online sale on the web page www.matawear.com.

Mata Wear reserves the right to modify freely and at any time these Terms of Use and the General Conditions of online sale, in order to adapt them to the applicable legislation, without any notice. Mata Wear reserves the right to change completely and at any time, the presentation and web page content. Such changes will result in a view to constantly improving the website and the services offered to its user.

By accessing this website and / or provide your personal data, the user automatically declares to know and accept the terms of the Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy. So if the customer does not agree with the following conditions, the customer should not use this Web page.

2. CONDITIONS OF USE

The user undertakes to use this website in compliance with the provisions of applicable legislation, refraining from using the web page for activities contrary to law, morals and good customs, or rights and interests of third parties. 

3. INFORMATION ABOUT PRODUCTS AND RATES

In www.matawear.com website there is detailed technical descriptions and photographs illustrating our products, following the best parameter product presentation policies.

Note: The colors of the products may be varied and will not be accurate since it depends on the monitor and technology used by each user. Mata Wear is not responsible for the resulting inaccuracy of the statement above.

The prices of all products listed in www.matawear.com and its subdomains are presented in euros, dollars and pounds with taxes included.

The prices and promotions displayed on www.matawear.com may experience fluctuations and their availability may be limited and affected by specific periods of time.

4.TERMS AND PAYMENT

When you make your purchase you can choose to pay by PayPal, Credit Card via Paypal or Multibanco (ATM references). Multibanco option is only available for payments in national territory (Portugal).

* Credit Card: Payment by Credit Card requires entering data of a valid credit card. (Note: If the information is not valid, an error message preventing the completion of the purchase will appear). The total value of the order is debited automatically. During the purchasing process, the number and the security code on your card will not be saved.

** PayPal: You can use your PayPal account for shopping at www.matawear.com. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can create one during the purchase process on the site. We recommend that you save your personal data and payment information so you do not need to re-enter every time you make a purchase in our site.

*** Multibanco: This option generates a reference/entity codes with which you can pay at a portugues ATM machine or Home Banking. You should then enter the Entity, Reference and Total Value of the order in the Payments option > Purchase payments option. Payment must be made within 2 dayss or the order will be cancelled.

5. SHIPPING COSTS OF MATA WEAR PRODUCTS

For your security and ours, all shipments of products ordered at www.matawear.com are sent by Registered Mail.

The cost of shipping is responsibility of the user / customer and added to the total value of selected products. The user will always be informed of these costs before confirming the order and completing the purchase. For Portuguese territory, shipping costs are fully supported by Mata Wear.

Prices and products available in www.matawear.com are only valid for purchase orders placed through the site www.matawear.com and may not match the prices in stores that sell the products of Mata Wear.

6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

CTT Express – Registered Mail

After confirmation of payment, your order will be shipped to the address provided in:

1-3 business days to Continental Portugal

3-5 business days to Portugal Islands and Europe.

10-12 business days to the rest of the World.

Upon receipt of your order, make sure your order matches the original ordered and it arrived undamaged.

 6.1 PROCESSING TIME

Orders typically ship the next business day. Orders placed Saturday-Sunday will ship out on Monday.

 6.2 POSSIBLE DELAYS

We do our best to ensure the timely delivery of all orders. Please keep in mind that we are only provided with an estimated delivery date from our carriers. On rare occasions, packages can arrive outside of the estimated timeframe.

 6.3 DUTIES & TAXES

Please note that all international packages may be subject to duties and taxes. Mata Wear is NOT responsible for any duties, taxes or fees carried out by border government or customs agents. For more details, please contact your local customs office.

7. ORDER TRACKING

You can follow of your order (tracking) by sending us an email asking for the tracking code to info@matawear.com. By accessing the website http://www.ctt.pt/, and placing the tracking code in the text field you can perform real-time tracking of your order.

8. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

The Return and Exchange terms on this Site are only applicable to Products purchased on the Site. Please contact your retailer for all other returns and exchanges.

If you change your mind, or make a wrong decision, Mata Wear will happily assist you with an exchange or refund, provided (unless faulty):

  1. The Products have not been worn, damaged or washed and have all labels and hygienic stickers intact;
  2. You ask for a refund ou exchange within 30 days from the date of your purchase

The exchange of the item (s) can be made by another size or another model in stock at the date of communication of the intention to change; the exchange will have to be made by a same or higher amount product. If the exchanged product is more expensive the customer must pay the difference.

If you wish to proceed with an exchange or refund, please send an email to info@matawear.com with the following information: full name; email; order number; product reference and size; reason of exchange or refund; in case you want to exchange for another item or items please refer to which one(s).

The returned item must be in perfect condition, with their labels, hygienic protections and no signs of use. We recommend that you send your order by registered mail. We are not responsible for any loss in your submission. Mata Wear will not support the cost of returning or exchanging an item.

After receiving the item, it will undergo a Quality Control analysis that may take up to 3 business days to assess the condition of it. The team of Mata Wear then will contact the customer through email.

9. SWIMWEAR CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Always read and follow the wash advice on the label:

  • Do not leave items in water to soak;
  • Gentle squeeze without twisting;
  • Do not leave items in contact with rough surfaces;
  • Hand Wash only (do not use a washing machine, dryer or dry cleaning) using cold running water, removing all chlorine and salt;
  • Never use iron;
  • Dry in the shade in a ventilated place;
  • Do not leave items in contact with solvents, cosmetics, sun block or any other chemical products.
  • Never leave the bikini wrapped in a towel after use

Mata Wear is not responsible for misuse of the articles or by incorrect washing.
